Magnetic Supports — Starlink Mini

Four magnets under the Starlink Mini. The dish drops onto a steel roof and stays put. No rack, no drilling, no adhesive.

Made in SwitzerlandStarlink Mini only4 × 56 kg magnetsHeat-resistant to 175°C

Three ways to hold a Mini on a roof.

Tactic Engineering designed the first magnetic mounts for camper vans, in December 2021. Every part is designed and manufactured in Switzerland. Here is how this mount compares to what else you can buy.

Option

Drilled bracket

Decades-old generic hardware, often made in Asia. You drill the roof, and the holes are permanent.

Option

Magnetic look-alike

A recent copy of our design, often made in Asia. Pull force is usually left unspecified.

This mount

Tactic magnet

Our design, December 2021. Four magnets, 56 kg pull each, tested. Thousands of vans worldwide since 2021.

Either way

Nothing to modify

No drilling required. The supports come off as fast as they go on, and the roof stays as it left the factory.

Fits the Mini. Only the Mini.

These supports are cut for the Starlink Mini. The Gen.2 and Gen.3 dishes are different shapes and take different mounts.

Fits

Starlink Mini Steel-bodied vehicles

Does not fit
