Magnetic Quick Release — Sumex Recovery Boards
Magnetic quick-release mounts sized for Sumex recovery boards. No rack. No drilling. No glue. Tool-free installation in under a minute.
How it works
Rubber-coated neodymium magnets hold your Sumex recovery boards flat against the steel body of your vehicle. Quick-release pins lock the boards in place through their existing mounting holes. When you need to deploy, pull the pins and the boards come free in seconds.
No rack needed. No drilling. No glue. Tool-free installation in under a minute.

Specifications
Designed, produced and hand-assembled in Switzerland
The plastic part of the pins is 3D printed from carbon fibre reinforced plastic, one of the most expensive materials we can buy. It makes the pins durable and resistant to heat and impact.
Our products are created using advanced 3D printing technology with the highest quality materials available. Due to the nature of this production method, there may be minor imperfections such as visible layers or slight waviness in the material. We carefully separate any items with noticeable defects and only ship those that meet our quality standards. These are not plastic injection moulded pieces.
You might see very thin layers of plastic, a consequence of the process. It is far more limited than the common 3D prints on the market: this composite is printed at 270 degrees Celsius, so it withstands extremely high temperatures before deforming.
The original. Invented here.
We invented magnetic mounts for recovery boards. Long before the copycats arrived — years before anyone else even tried — we were already selling magnetic recovery board supports to overlanders worldwide.
The biggest names in the van and off-road industry sell our product, not the copies that showed up four years later. Because this is what we do, and we do it from Switzerland.
